What you need
- Soft brush. Warm water monthly. A dry towel.
What goes wrong
- Pushing a brush hard into the mesh, which deforms the apertures and quietly changes what the sieve does. Stacking them damp. Using a wire brush.
The procedure
- Tap each sieve out over a bin before anything else. Most of it leaves dry.
