A hand-pumped espresso maker the size of a water bottle. It reaches espresso pressure, makes a small shot, and travels anywhere.

What goes wrong
- Coarse grind in a shallow 8g basket. No resistance, so it runs watery and sour. Pumping hard from the first stroke blows a channel through a small puck. Boiling water in the tank. Scorched and bitter. Packing it away damp, so the seals keep old coffee and taint later shots.
