What goes wrong
- Coarse grind in a shallow 8g basket (no resistance, watery and sour), pumping hard from the first stroke (blows a channel straight through a small puck), boiling water in the tank (scorched, bitter), packing it away damp (seals retain old coffee, tainted shots)
