Mazagran
Cold coffee with lemon, from a French garrison in Algeria and later a Portuguese fixture. Espresso or strong filter over ice with lemon and sugar, sometimes lengthened with sparkling water. The lemon reads strange until you try it in heat, which is the only context it was ever for.
