Caffeine

Caffeine is a reference value for this drink and brew method, not a measurement of your cup.

AeroPress technique

  1. Use 15g of medium-fine coffee with a paper filter rinsed in hot water.
  2. Pour 200g of 85°C water and stir for 10 seconds.
  3. Insert the plunger and let steep for 1:00 to 1:30.
  4. Press over 30 seconds with steady, gentle pressure.
  5. Dilute with hot water if you want a longer, lighter drink.

The AeroPress is forgiving and fast. The classic recipe stays put; experiment with inverted brewing or different water temps once the basic shape is comfortable.

Log it, and the caffeine with it

The app records every aeropress you make, estimates the caffeine, and writes it to Apple Health so your daily total counts every source, not just coffee.
