Café au Lait preparation
- Brew 120ml of strong filter coffee at 1:14 - about 9g of coffee to 125g of water.
- Heat 120ml of milk to 60-65°C, in a pan or on the wand, with little to no foam.
- Pour coffee and milk into a wide bowl or mug at the same time, 1:1.
Filter coffee, not espresso - that is what separates it from a café con leche. Brew stronger than you would drink it black, since the milk halves it.
